With the improving weather we've really been able to forge ahead with our latest project. With the new brick walls creating the edges of our new patios we've been able to start laying the new Sandstone patios.
Sandstone is proving to be a popular choice of paving material and looking at these pictures gives you an idea why. It's durable, cost effective and has a great range of colours. And being a natural stone it has character. This particular client has gone for a colour often called Raj green, and as with many of the colour sets it contains a plethora of colours within it. A bit of rain and the slabs take on a new life as the colours deepen and really shine out.
We have now completed the additional new patio right at the end of this garden which has given the client a new area to relax on their favourite bench an enjoy the last of the days sun. It's always worth considering which areas of your garden could benefit from such an area whether it's to catch the heat of the sun or a shady area to avoid it.
So with some fencing and the rest of the lower patio to complete we should be finished pretty soon. Pictures of the completed garden will follow soon as long as the weather continues to behave itself!
