The large front garden project we are completing at the moment is moving on and we have now complete done of the key features, a hardwood deck leading out from the kitchen/diner.
We've done many hardwood decks but n this case the client asked us to look for ways to really make the most of this great looking wood. And one way we instantly discussed was to use a method to fix the deck which meant the screws were unseen. After a bit of research we discovered a clip system that seemed to fit the bill.
And having now completed the deck using this method we would certainly look to use it again. It really helps maintain that smooth look and keeps the focus on this beautiful wood.
We have also incorporated a raised flower bed within the deck using sleepers and continued these beds down the fence line, stepping down to meet the level of the new drive. Plenty of room for new plants to soften the fence.
Next up is to tackle the drive with the help of a subcontractor who will be laying the tarmac. This is shaping up to become a very nice frontage to this impressive property.
