Paving, decking, driveway, garden walls; this one's got the lot!

We're a couple of weeks into our latest garden design project and things are really starting to take shape. We completed this clients back garden last year and leapt at the chance to help to complete the front garden.

With a steep rise from the driveway entrance to the property the big task with this design was to sort out the levels. After several meetings with the client where we discussed different options we settled on a design which included two patios in front of the house split into two levels to work as steps up to the house.

  

The client also wanted to make the most of the morning sun that hits the front garden, so we added a deck leading directly out from the kitchen/diner. This has been bordered with brickwork using the same bricks as the house to draw the whole look together.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We will soon be moving on to creating some raised beds for planting down the side of the deck and of course the main task of taking out the old drive and creating a new one that gives more space and also a larger flatter area for parking. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a large front garden and it's nice to work with a client that recognises the value of creating a nice entrance to their property, an entrance that will be both more practical to use and also better to look at!
