Last project of 2011 ends with large lawn.

At the end of 2011 we returned to a large project that we designed and part built with the clients contractors.

This was a very enjoyable project, large scale and the client really used his personal knowledge of stone and materials to bring the design to life.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whilst his team are still finishing the deck and a few other details we returned to finish our last major job, to lay a new lawn.

This large area needed a lot of preparation to get the finish the client was looking for. We bought in tonnes of new topsoil and soil improver and worked it into the existing soil to create a really good base for the new turf. 

We will return in the Spring to assess the planting scheme and possibly add to the planting and make sure the lawn has settled in nicely, but for now this one can be put to bed and the new view enjoyed by the clients even if it's too cold to get out and use it!
