Hi, I’m Andy Westacott, founder of Westacott Gardens. Having spent ten years in the advertising industry I decided, in 2004, to try and find a career that would reward the soul and satisfy my creative urges. Westacott Gardens is the result.
Ten years working in client services means my strengths lie in being able to communicate with clients and to turn their ideas into the garden they desire.
Having a garden landscaped is often a one off experience for clients and is always an investment.
I have a genuine passion for creating stunning gardens and I hope that you will consider Westacott Gardens to be the perfect choice for achieving the full potential from that investment.
A bit about my qualifications and experience:
I have a Diploma in Landscape Design and trained in the following courses at Writtle Horticultural College:
* Pruning
* Garden Design
* Brickwork in the Garden
I love to focus on planting and, having spent a year working with a top plantsman gaining experience and learning from one of the best, I believe this is one area often overlooked in the landscaping process where, I feel, it should be one of the most important.
I genuinely feel that everyone should get the most from their garden space as possible and that this doesn’t need to cost the earth. I work closely with each client to create a bespoke garden that reflects their needs.
As a small and young company I like to feel that we come with a fresh approach and an also innovative one.
One of our gardens was featured in the SGD’s review of the year publication for its use of innovative ideas. As a garden designer and plantsman I always seek to keep moving forward bringing new ideas to each new project whilst using the experience gained on others.
As a company, we are keen to work in partnership with clients who wish to squeeze the most out of their environment.
Whilst budget is important to you, and of course us too, it is a priority that, as a partnership, we work in unity to deliver the right result.
